The NDC has no solution to the economic challenges; they just want to make the government unpopular – Owusu Bempah
New Patriotic Party (NPP) Deputy Communications Director Ernest Owusu Bempah has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of plotting to make the government unpopular with orchestrated bad press.
He said the main opposition parties do not have alternative solutions to the current economic challenges facing Ghanaians.
Speaking to reporters in Accra, Thursday, February 16, he said “All indications reflect the fact that they are on a mission to make this government unpopular. A very diabolical strategy, they are not seeking the interest of Ghanaians.
“Have you heard the NDC talking about an alternative solution, a viable alternative solution to the economic situation of this country? No. When the NPP was in opposition, this time we had policy plans like free SHS, we said we will stop dunsor.
“The NDC has no such solution. All they are thinking is to sit and allegedly light fire in Bawku neighborhood just to make the government unpopular, hide people to picket because of the bond issue or hide behind youth organizers who come and light the fire and say .a dangerous thing that will destroy the good democracy that Ghana has inherited.
“The agenda of the new leader of the NDC is only to set the agenda of the plan that is designed to make the government unpopular, when Ghanaians are not satisfied with the bad news about this government, it means that the NDC is an alternative, that is what they are thinking. but they are wrong.
“The people of Ghana know about this government and the solutions it will provide for the people. We are calling on Ghanaians to wake up.
