Nana Sacks NDA Boss
The Deputy Chief Executive of the Northern Development Authority (NDA), Patrick Seidu has been sacked by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The statement signed by the Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare read “We wish to inform you that, the President has decided to terminate your appointment as the Deputy Chief Executive of the Northern Development Authority with effect from March 21, 2023.”
The statement further directed that the sacked Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Northern Development Authority hand over any official duties and property held by him to the Chief Executive Officer of the Northern Development Authority prior to his departure.
The Chief of Staff however thanked Mr. Seidu for his service and wished him the best in his future endeavours.
The reason for the sacking of the Deputy Chief Executive of the Northern Development Authority was not immediately known, but some believe it is related to the alleged corruption case in the NDA office which is being investigated by the Office of the Special Prosecutor.
Meanwhile, the Special Prosecutor’s Office has started an investigation into the suspected corruption case at the Northern Development Authority (NDA).
