The Postal Unit of the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) of Ghana on Friday, February 3, 2023, intercepted six (6) packages of plastic containers of cocoa powder containing marijuana.
The parcel, which was destined for the United Kingdom (UK), was discovered by Commission officers when they were carrying out a routine inspection of parcels brought to the post office to be sorted before being sent to their final destination.
Investigations are underway to uncover those behind the export attempt.
The Commission used this media to warn those involved in the act to desist from such activities as they will be prosecuted if found guilty.
