A preliminary inspection of the body by the police indicated that the man may have been killed elsewhere, and that the body was dumped at the scene because of the wounds on the arms and legs without bloodstains where they were searched.
Police officers assigned to the scene declined to comment.
The body has been sent for autopsy by the Bimbilla police.
