There was some confrontation between the former Member of Parliament for Tamale Central, Inusah Fuseini and the incumbent MP from the same constituency, Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, during a show on Pan Africa Television.
During the show, Murtala called to ask why Inusah Fuseini mentioned his name stating that he made some allegations about seeking legal advice from him.
The MP thought that Inusah Fuseini should have called him to ask if he said what he reported instead of sitting on air to attack him and also share his personal information on the matter.
“First of all, my attention has been drawn because my senior brother Inusah Fuseini mentioned my name in the program and I was surprised. First of all, if you heard that I sat in the program and made a statement and according to him someone told me, I said that I will not take legal advice from him right, I think he is easy to call the station. find out if I call his name or at least call me.
“If he had done it, I’m sure you would have told me that I never mentioned his name in the program. At least I said that I mentioned his name in the program. Now he will come on the program and say that he did not think that I would talk about him, and then say that I ever asked for legal advice when my car was impounded is the cheapest I will get. senior brother. You are not the only one I call,” said Murtala Mohammed.
He added, “…I have never said anything to you and as a senior brother the least you can do is sit there and talk about the private conversation I had with you about the illegal issue of my car. Do you want me to share every personal information shared? I ask you I think we can avoid.
Inusah Fuseini, after listening to Murtala Mohammed, said that he did not mention his name and he responded to the comments of those who claimed that he was stuck by saying that he will not take legal advice from him (Inusah Fuseini).
“I didn’t come on the program to respond to you and I didn’t come on the program to see how many people you talk to. Listen to me, what I want to do is just to finish what catches people’s attention and that’s why I say it can’t be me. Even in this station, some people created the impression that I was the one you responded to. I never said that you said Inusah, I said that there was sarcasm, or that you did not listen to what I said.”
