Monare’s current contract with Pirates expires at the end of the season, with the player only offered a one-season deal last year.
However, his contribution to the team and having earned many minutes in the stomach, the club’s technical team and management want to stay longer at the club.
The exit of the Pirates surprised many when he was announced as one of the players who would leave, but the Bucs changed their mind after a while to bring him back to the club.
