Laugh out loud. Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher went viral for her far-fetched red carpet pose while promoting her upcoming movie — and even Mila Kunis have thoughts on the press tour.

“He even sent us an email last night,” Witherspoon, 46, said when he looked at it Today with Hoda & Jennawhich aired on Monday, February 6. “She said, ‘You look awkward on the red carpet together.'”

At Sweet Home Alabama star, meanwhile, looking on the bright side to get work with her husband Kunis, 45, said, “It’s just fun because if you know your boyfriend very well, it’s just fun to know his significant other ‘because I’ve loved him for a long time.”

Kutcher and Kunis, 39, first met on set That ’70s Show from 1998 to 2006. After being friends offscreen, the couple finally started dating and tied the knot in 2015. They share daughter Wyatt, 8, and son Dimitri, 6.

Witherspoon, for her, is married to Jim Toth since 2010, and they show the 10-year-old son of Tennessee. At Cruel Intentions star is also mother to daughter Ava, 23, and son Deacon, 19, who she shares with her ex-husband. Ryan Phillippe.

Kutcher and Witherspoon recently made headlines while promoting their upcoming Netflix rom-com My place or mine. In the movie – he is also a star Jesse Williams, Zoë Chao, Wesley Kimmel, Tig Notaro and Steve Zahn — two friends realize they have feelings for each other after switching houses for a week.

Offscreen, however, the couple raised eyebrows with their joint red carpet appearance. Social media users were quick to question why Kutcher and Witherspoon looked out of sync in certain photos from the screening.

During her talk show appearance, the Legally blonde star set the record straight about friendship with businessmen. “He’s a professional. He’s the funniest person,” she added, Monday. “I mean, that goofball. I love it so much, and every time she wears a cute outfit, I text Mila. I’ll be like, ‘Is he wearing it?’”

According to the Louisiana native, she and Kutcher had to “learn to be friends” on set. “I was like, ‘These are my dogs. These are my kids.’ My kids would tease him about the football team,” Witherspoon said of bonding with his co-workers after previously “not knowing” each other.

At Two and a half people The alum also gushed about his experience, telling variety Friday, February 3, “I have to be in the right scene of the original movie star. He is a movie star. It’s wonderful and fun and funny and light. There is no dark day. There is no day that everything is wrong. I’m spoiled.”
