Mike Huckabee has released a new children’s book – and based on the promotional material, it is unlikely to please the one-time ally of Donald Trump.
Huckabee’s “The Kids Guide to Ron DeSantis” appeared to make a favorable impression on the Florida governor, a potential 2024 rival to Trump who has beaten the former president in several polls.
Trump reportedly disliked DeSantis’ former protégé as a result and was likely less than happy with Huckabee’s claim that DeSantis “could be the next Commander-in-Chief,” as shown in the ad below:
The elder Huckabee’s side hustle has been hawking right-wing children’s books, including one that lavishes praise on Trump, one that pushes the notion that the United States is a Christian nation, and a series of Bible books.
In most cases, the books are sold for $20 per month, but the buyer must also agree to a subscription.
