According to a press release shared with Bitcoinist, the big tech giant Microsoft is partnering with Ankr Network to launch a hosting service. The product will allow companies to access blockchain data through a “trusted, easy-to-use” platform.
Microsoft’s New Product With Ankr Network
According to the release, the service will be available through Microsoft’s cloud solution, Azure Marketplace. The product was created to provide companies with an “accessible gateway to blockchain infrastructure.”
The hosting service is built by integrating Microsoft’s cloud platform with Ankr’s blockchain infrastructure. The service will provide access to “low-latency blockchain connections” for crypto and Web3 products. Chandler Song, Co-Founder and CEO at Ank said:
This is a critical step in bringing blockchain infrastructure to the growing sector of the digital economy. The partnership, an incredible milestone for Ankr, is also a key indicator of how far the decentralized web has integrated with key players at every layer of the web system. The end result will be an era of highly productive building for blockchain-based applications from new Web3 projects as well as large companies entering the space.
Song claims that the solution will be the “most powerful” infrastructure product for Web3 projects in the crypto industry. The solution will help scale application projects by supporting “large amounts of RPC traffic.”
Crypto and Web3 companies can use Microsoft/Ankr services for several use cases, including deploying smart contracts, sending transactions, manipulating blockchain data, and more. The partner solution will operate as a fully managed node hosting service, but users can manage memory, bandwidth, and other components, according to their needs.
Rashmi Misra, Microsoft General Manager AI & Emerging Technologies added: Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Many developers and organizations are exploring how Web3 can help solve real-world business challenges, and our partnership with Ankr will allow them to access blockchain data in a reliable, scalable, and secure way. Together with Ankr, we are building a strong Web3 infrastructure layer whether you are a developer building the next decentralized application (dApp) or an established company exploring Web3.
