Michael Cohen, the former lawyer of President Donald Trump, warned the new lawyer 45 Joe Tacopina that “he may be like the rest” of the lawyers who represent Trump.
Cohen testified again on Wednesday to a Manhattan grand jury investigating payments he made to Stormy Daniels on Trump’s behalf.
“And if he doesn’t watch himself, he might end up like everybody else,” said Cohen, who went to prison after pleading guilty to tax evasion and campaign finance violations.
“I alone, [John] Eastman, [Christina] Bobb and Rudy Giuliani – and many other lawyers are in trouble because of the aging Donald.
Cohen, before the interview, ripped Trump’s new lawyer and said he was “playing at one party.”
“He is an absolute disgrace to the legal profession,” Cohen said.
He added: “You’re right, I know [Trump] definitely better than Joe Tacopina. What I’m going to say, strictly speaking, what Joe is doing right now is that he’s playing at one party and that’s Donald Trump. He’ll say the funniest crap you can say because that’s what Donald wants.
