We have come to our second part The Real Housewives of Potomac reunion. Gizelle is on the hot seat with her cankles set on fire by Candiace for trying to destroy her family this season. Let’s see who gets roasted in this lively episode, shall we?
Candiace let Gizelle knowing in no uncertain terms she used Chris for the storyline since her dwindling uterus was not interesting enough. Gizelle keeps telling the story that Chris makes her uncomfortable. Candiace wants to know why Chris has to apologize for “what he did to her.” Andy tried to get Gizelle to be more specific, and she kept repeating her one-liners. Gizelle took the blame Candiace to make this bigger than it needs to be. Candiace insists that Gizelle made Chris a predator. Mia trying to interject her thoughts, and Candiace off her down. Andy tables the discussion as Chris exits.
Ashley’s Deborah’s friend was then brought up, and the length of the production clearly shows that nothing happened. According to Ashley, Deborah stupidly said that the edit “didn’t match what she said,” which then changed the words that came out of Chris’s mouth. Eddie was targeted for smiling at Deborah, and if this is borderline cheating, it’s ridiculous. Wendy makes a good point when he says that his wife cannot be polite and friendly without being accused of inappropriateness. Amen.
Where is the moment? Robin put Candiace’s Instagram rant blast hoes fake and unfaithful in the speaker has been rehashed. He felt that Candiace was coming for him even though he didn’t directly tell Robyn and Karen, who owned the business. Robyn then said, “Everything we do has to be on camera.” He really showed his hypocrisy knowing what was hidden behind the lens. The production shows us WWHL, which aired two weeks later, where Robyn was called out for not revealing her true identity. Andy says that Robyn didn’t share the truth but used Candiace and Chris to tell the story #truth.
Candiace isn’t shy about telling the truth, and she’s upset that Robyn didn’t come to her and ask who the beef was with. He didn’t understand why people questioned his friendship with Wendy and Robyn. Wendy wonders why Candiace thinks Robyn is more loyal than she is. Robyn says they have a dynamic relationship, and who is closer to them is not important.
Gizelle’s season shows her renovating her home and starting a new live show, Just Shady, profiled. Andy congratulates on their podcast, and they say they have four million downloads. I want to know in the comments if anyone Blurber listens to this drivel?
Andy mentions how Karen has a competing business with Wendy and Gizelle. Karen claims that she launched the fragrance almost four years ago and announced that candles are coming next. He feels good about Wendy when he buys candles because he doesn’t want to steal the thunder.
Andy asked Karen about the similarities between her show and the Countess and Friends show. He says that more than variety shows use Carol Burnett as inspiration. Karen backpedals when Andy thought she was trying to emulate Wendy Williams. He then rolled and invited Andy to a VIP show in Philadelphia, which would be a sold out show for 300 people according to him. Karen gets a lot of love on social media from her La Dames, and they will step up when she needs them. She claims Robyn would have a fan named “Boring” if she had the same fan. Karen lives in an alternate universe, and I have to admire her imagination.
Gizelle shared that she has received a lot of support from viewers regarding her health issues. Andy asked Gizelle, “How hard was it to tell the kids on camera about your surgery?” Gizelle mentions that her bladder is compromised and she needs to be kept overnight. Andy asks about why she doesn’t share her life on the show but expects others to be open and honest. He tried to get her to see the hypocrisy. Andy asks Gizelle about Steve, and she mentions that she’s still seeing him. Gizelle said she saw Jason from Winter House, and the girls have met him. They have an age difference of 16 years, and she is proud to say Jason blowing the dust off her cookies warmed her up for the reunion.
Wendy’s season is rehashed, with her restaurant venture idea and health issues. They treat kidney stones and remove them. Wendy and her beef with Peter rehashed, and they discussed how Mia was involved. He had to change his diet, and his hair fell out because he was under stress. Andy wonders why Wendy wants to get into the restaurant business when she has enough on her plate. Wendy really doesn’t have a good answer to that question.
Andy asks Mia about Peter and their relationship, and she claims that she is Gordon’s friend. He wants to know why he threw the drink at Wendy. Mia purports that Wendy was spouting nonsense and she disappeared. He said he did not send a message from Peter. Wendy reminds Mia that she attacked her, and you can clearly see how affected Wendy is. Mia basically slanders Wendy by insinuating she slept with Peter – so she can get restaurant recommendations??? He said that Wendy had dinner with Peter and told him that she always gave him cookies. Please, continue with this nonsense!
Andy asks Robyn why she called Wendy the antagonist instead of Mia during the fight. Robyn says she doesn’t want Wendy fighting on television. He tells Wendy to fight Mia as the camera pans out like she was with Juan at that bimbo hotel. Robyn said that since they weren’t friends, she chose to step aside and thought that Karen should talk. Karen doesn’t want to get involved in the battle that Robyn has been active in. Robyn will be called out for the violent incidents she was involved in, especially having Charrisse stop her from attacking Wendy.
Ashley will be called out to defend Monique when she has a violent altercation with Candiace. She said that Candiace has support, and Wendy and Monique don’t. Andy called Gizelle out on the same issue, and she said Candiace got beat up, which is more significant than a martini in the face. IMO, it’s criminal to waste good alcohol! Gizelle concludes that since she doesn’t like Wendy, she’s become unimportant. Wendy became emotional when she heard the comment. He says he needs to stop beating Mia. Wendy does not admit to showing her the tan as a result of too much tequila after Mia reminds her they made it for the camera.
Andy mentions the problem of colorism in this event, and he will allow them to discuss because he is not qualified. Candiace read the definition and said she didn’t think there was a problem with her cast members. She compares herself to Robyn, who has been involved in bad behavior but is not called out like she is because of her lighter skin tone. Gizelle and Robyn are so vapid that they clearly don’t know what colorism is.
Karen shared her personal experience and tried to right the wrongs by buying the plantation her family worked on. Ashley admits that she is privileged because she is a lighter-skinned woman, which Candiace respects her for admitting. Andy warns that Michelle Obama is watching and will appreciate this conversation.
Jacqueline come out to join the group so they can share their stories. He hasn’t seen Mia since the end of the season. Mia thinks this season is disappointing, and Jacqueline is upset that she is treated like Mia’s farmer. He was overwhelmed by the support Jacqueline needed. Jacqueline asks her sister to be Mia’s babysitter because she has no family support. He points out that his family is disgusted with Mia’s behavior after he stepped up and cared for her in the past. Jacqueline calls Mia unhinged and business in shambles. Mia grabs a glittery box of receipts to try to match what Jacqueline produced, and we’ll be racing until next week when the guys join in!
Next week, we’ll have to wait and see what these two bring to the table. Have a great week, Blurbers, and see you tomorrow in Jersey!
