Meri Brown Honors Beloved Mom Two Years After Her Sudden Death

Time may have passed.

But the pain remains.

Earlier this week, Sister Wives star Meri Brown took to social media to pay tribute to the women who raised her and loved her through thick and thin:

His mother, Bonnie.

“Two years. Two years since he graced this earth with his beautiful presence.

“Many things I want to share with him, discuss with him and let him hold my hand and my heart,” the owner of Lizzie’s Heritage Inn captioned the video posted to Instagram and TikTok on Sunday, March 26.

“This woman, a woman who is honored and blessed to call Mother, is a symbol of strength, kindness and love. Know that he must love her, and love her.

“He will forever be in my heart and in the hearts of many people. He will be missed forever.

A little snow won’t bring Meri Brown down. Quite the opposite, in fact!

Along with this emotional message, the TLC personality uploaded a heartwarming picture of Bonnie over the years.

About two weeks ago, Meri also wrote kind words about her late parents, who were 76 years old when they died…

On Bonnie’s 78th birthday, Meri commemorated the occasion by sharing a sweet post on her official Instagram page.

Alongside a photo of Bonnie, the 52-year-old Sister Wives star wrote, “Happy Birthday Mom!”

He continued:

“The most amazing, loving, kind, giving, selfless, Christ-centered person I’ve had the pleasure of knowing in this life. I miss talking to him, learning from him, and being inspired by his wisdom.

Meri Brown doesn’t need Kody in her life to be happy! Just look at this gorgeous photo.

Back when she lost her mother, Meri wrote that Bonnie died “suddenly” and “too soon,” adding that “76 years and 17 days is not enough time for the world to feel the beautiful spirit of this beautiful woman.”

Viewers of Sister Wives know Bonnie for her occasional series appearances, and also because Bonnie helps her daughter at a bed and breakfast in Utah.

The tragedy clearly affected Brown on a very deep level.

Understandably, of course.

Meri Brown has moved on, finally, from Kody. We want them to thrive!

“I don’t know how I’m going to do the rest of my life without him,” she continued.

“Mom, I love you more than words can express here, but I know you do.

“You are loved, you are missed, and I know you are so happy to be celebrating on the other side with dad, holding your daughter and son who left us too soon, meeting your parents, and getting to know your dad.”

Bonnie’s unexpected death was told in an episode of Sister Wives that aired in September 2022.

Describing how he remembers the day of his death “very clearly and in great detail,” Brown said on air:

“You’re alone in the car and on the way to him, praying I’ll get there before it’s too late, it’s hard enough, but then calling someone you’ve missed is really painful.”
