A new perspective on life after a rather serious accusation was pointed in his direction.
On Tuesday, the veteran Sister Wives star shared an Instagram picture showing her posing with two friends – also featuring her appearing to clap back against Paedon Brown’s claims that she was abusive… and physically.
“Spending my #52 birthday with some of my favorite people in the world. Lots of laughs, lots of great conversation, and lots of delicious food!” wrote Meri along with a slideshow of pictures from the celebration.
“On days like these, I’m reminded of the humanity of good-hearted and honest people, the friends who support you, and the general good of the world.”
As you can see, Meri did not mention Paedon by name or make any direct reference to what he said on YouTube last week.
For those who missed it, Christine and Kody Brown’s son said on YouTube: Abrasive is not enough words to explain what Meri is for some of us special children.
When asked by blogger John Yates if his “abrasive” behavior was “transmitted verbally,” Paedon replied:
“Oh, the movement goes through the verbal. The verbal basically stops there.
Paedon did not specify the comment, but it has spread on the Internet.
Of course here, Paedon – who has long criticized Kody’s father – said that Meri physically abused some of his siblings.
Elsewhere in the same Q&A, Paedon recounted what Maddie Brown (Kody and Janelle Brown’s 27-year-old daughter) said during a 2019 Twitter feud that led to her deleting her account after calling Meri an “abuser” and a “monster.”
“I can repeat what Madison said about Meri,” Paedon said a few days ago.
“No, we are never safe [Meri].”
It’s a big charge, isn’t it?
On her birthday, Meri moved forward and focused on the positive.
“I’m so thankful for my friends who can be me, who understand my heart and who I am, and who inspire me for a bright future,” he said.
“I have so many things to be thankful for. So many great things to do in the coming year. So much promise, hope, and light.
“And today. I’m so thankful for today.
Giving her friends an “epic” shout out, Meri concluded:
“Here’s to another year in the books, and the year ahead is full of wonder, wisdom, and worth.”
Meanwhile, Meri is on her own trip, after confirming her breakup from Kody.
“After more than ten years of working on our relationship in a unique way, we have decided to permanently end our marital relationship,” the exes said in a joint statement.
“During this process, we are committed to kindness and respect for each other and all family members,” the exes said.
“We are also committed to continuing to heal all relationships with families so that we can move forward with forgiveness, grace, and love.”
