Meredith Marcus and Lisa Barlow seems to be getting further and further away from reconciliation.
As the ladies sparred on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City through Meredith’s comments about Lisa’s marriage and business, and Lisa’s hot mic rant in season two, Meredith defends her comments about Lisa’s mental health and accuses her co-star of defaming the family as Lisa slams her claims as “dangerous” and says Meredith is still “punish” her even though she apologized.
“I never questioned her mental health,” Meredith insisted in the previous episode RHOSLC: After the Show. “Help maybe, find more work with a healer, find a better fitness trainer, find a life coach, find a therapist, find a friendship that suits you, work on your marriage, or how do you get an exorcist?”
“It makes me very angry, especially because he knows exactly what I’m doing, exactly what’s important to me, exactly what I’m doing with my nephew, who he forgot in Arizona, who is also very sick,” Meredith continued, signaling her mental health struggles his nephew.
But according to Lisa, she believes Meredith really thinks she has “mental health issues” and accuses her former friend of “mindf-cks”.
“[It] there is a contingency for us to be friends – I need help,” Lisa noted. “I refuse to be a lawyer with my friend. Meredith has never practiced law. used so that he could step back and say, ‘I never asked about your mental health…’ I don’t know any more. Meredith mindf-cks I can take it.
During a recent episode of ROSLCLisa uses a reference phrase in a casual manner, which sets off Meredith, who is understandably sensitive about the topic.
“My niece is trying to live and she says she doesn’t know but everyone hears me talking about it,” Meredith said.
However, looking back at the “slice my wrist” comment, Lisa claims she doesn’t know the details of what happened with Meredith’s niece.
“It’s dangerous for him to tell me I’m not healthy because I have enough time, but all he says is bad and it’s okay. You yell at me every time we’re together. So what’s going on there? Because I’m friends with Jen, you’re angry with me and you punish me,” Lisa suspected.
“I’ve apologized to Meredith Marks several times. It’s not enough,” Lisa continued. “I responded because I was hurt. [during the hot mic moment]. It’s ridiculous. I just want to get rid of my pain and frustration. It’s not because of hate. He blames me for everything.
But as Meredith notes, “an apology coupled with an excuse is not an apology.”
“He went and just decided to destroy my character and my whole family,” Meredith warned.
Looking back at Lisa’s hot mic moment, Meredith says she believes her co-star’s aggression was prompted by her ex. ROSLC my friend, Mary Kosbysaid about her tequila line.
“The only thing I can think of is that he wants to destroy all the faith of the congregation because Mary said that her tequila is rude and I will not participate, and I think he is angry and acting like a two-year-old,” Meredith suspected. “[And] unless he shows something to change that point of view, I can’t believe anything else.
Although Meredith says that in order to move forward with Lisa, she needs to feel safe with her and know that Lisa won’t be mad at her, Lisa says that Meredith wants her to admit that she’s “crazy” and “made it up.” so she doesn’t feel bad for him anymore. all his actions against him.
“It’s a justification to get revenge on him and I can’t give it to him because it’s not right,” Lisa said.
In himself RHOSLC: After the Show segment, Whitney Rose weighed in on the ongoing drama between Meredith and Lisa, saying that after getting the “full story” and experiencing both women, she believes “Lisa deserves forgiveness.”
” Meredith said at the end of the season two reunion. We all went out to SUR together and Meredith said to Lisa, ‘Your hot mic moment made you a star. You should have been hated and you turned out great.’ And Meredith has done swag. So obviously, Meredith is okay with her punishing Lisa,” Whitney said.
