this week, 90 Day Engagement: Before 90 Days fans learn about Memphis Smith and Moknii Hamza divorce.
The bitter exes ended their split a few months ago. It appears that Memphis scored some custody “victories,” though we don’t know the details.
Now, we learn that Memphis has also filed for bankruptcy, citing huge debts and monthly expenses that exceed her income.
Obviously, there’s no shame in exploring her financial options. But some fans cried foul, and wondered if it was some sort of tactic in her divorce.

After that winter from 90 Day Engagement: Before 90 DaysMemphis and Hamza seem to have it all.
They got married. Memphis is pregnant. In fact, she gave birth to a daughter, Kiori, in October 2021.
Hamza may soon move to the United States. They want to live together as a family. And, for a while, they did.

In fact, reliable reports say that the producers and camera crew are filming Memphis and Hamza in Michigan.
We haven’t seen the footage yet. It is a possibility that we never have. Many fans believe that Kimberly and Usman are strange 90 Day Engagement: Happily Ever After? Season 7 was a last minute replacement. (Like, they had filmed it, but the producers decided to drop it HEA)
It appears that Memphis and Hamza split up … and suddenly refused to film anymore. The only other explanation that shows itself decided to fire someone.

The two are supposed to have split by early 2022 at the latest. Of course, by spring, they had split up.
Interestingly, it appears that Hamza spent several months in Chicago, away from Memphis and from his children.
Fans have no idea what went down. Aside from some vague bashing, both sides have been tight-lipped about this nasty business.

Memphis and Hamza finalized their divorce in October 2022.
Around that time, it appears that the court made a detention order that Hamza did not like.
We are being vague on purpose. Because we don’t know, and we don’t pretend to know, the details.

What we know more about is that, in November 2022, Memphis filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
Considering that he has no property to use as an asset, he revealed that he earns just over $4,200 a month. That is less than what a nurse practitioner might expect.
In liabilities and debts, Memphis owes $225,430 – a quarter of a million dollars, almost. And his monthly expenses of $4,640 exceeded his income by several hundred dollars. According to her documents.

Now, Memphis is a working mother of two. Because prices have historically been driven by large oligopolies in many industries, they can easily have as high or higher costs. Often, the main factor is location.
However, some fans wondered if this filing was a divorce tactic. What money does he owe Hamza? Is this some way to save?
We’re not sure how we’re going to be able to build up a large enough loan to buy a small suburban home. But there’s something to keep in mind about Memphis’ financial reality.

During the season, Memphis tried to set up a prenup to sign with Hamza. Unfortunately, he tried this at the last minute. It’s way, way too late to get in before the party.
So, unless he hides his successful solution from the cameras, Memphis is flying by the seat of his pants. Hamza did not sign the prenup. Memphis seems to be about to sign a postnup … a document with little weight.
There are real questions about the details of the completed divorce. But now, we don’t even know if Hamza will face deportation.
