Melissa Gorga set the record straight about his wife Joe Gorgameet with Joe Judgeformer brother-in-law.
Two people, who were once costars in the The Real Housewives of New Jersey, feuded for years before recently running into each other in the Bahamas. After meeting – which was recorded and posted on Instagram Joe Gorga – Giudice’s daughter family accused uncle Joe of being an opportunist.
In an interview with AND! NewsMelissa directs the men’s impromptu reunion.
“He showed up to the hotel we were in, we did not find Joe Giudice,” said Melissa, who called “sad” who would suspect Joe Gorga of a hidden agenda. “[Joe Giudice] clearly knew what hotel we were going to.
He also said, “Joe Giudice showed up where we were gambling,” and that the reunion was “unexpected.”
“We walked into the bar at the same time, and they saw each other,” the star added. “Alhamdulillah, both of them opened their arms and embraced. They didn’t mention the past, they didn’t mention it Teresa [Giudice], not a single word. Not to mention her new person, zero. The two discuss what Joe is doing at work now that his father has died. We haven’t seen each other in eight years.”
Although she called her ex “up and down” – before Giudice was expelled from the United States – Melissa admitted, “my husband let go of everything, he saw her, and he felt like he saw a family.”
Regarding the heat Joe Gorga received after posting the encounter on social media, Melissa said, “Joe’s damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t.”
Does Melissa believe her family dynamic will change if she doesn’t go on the show?
“No, I don’t,” he replied. “I don’t think it’s going to be much different… It happened way before Housewives of New Jersey even existed. My first couple of years of marriage she was not in the show. It’s always a bit of a bumpy ride. I always saw the tension between my sister and my sister and even her ex-husband before The Real Housewives. I feel like entering a family, and that’s how it is.
Melissa wants the family conflict to end. “It still feels toxic to this day,” she explained. “I look forward to it [Teresa] luck, I wish her happiness. I don’t think we’ll ever have lunch together, but I want him to be happy.
