In the years before she met and married Prince Harry, Meghan Markle was a successful actress with interests in fashion and blogging.
(He was never an A-list star, as the British media likes to remind us, but he was a regular cast member on a popular cable series.)

There didn’t seem to be any strategy in terms of content, so Meghan just casually wrote about whatever was on her mind that day.
One day in 2014, Meghan decided to share her thoughts on the fantastic idea of young girls becoming princesses.
She notes that she herself looked up to She-Ra, Princess of Power when she was younger, but she knows that many women grow up dreaming of a more traditional royal life.
“For those of you who don’t know the 80s cartoon reference, She-Ra is He-Man’s twin sister and a sword-wielding royal rebel known for her powers. We’re definitely not talking about Cinderella here,” Meghan wrote in the republished post The Daily Mail on Wednesday.
“Grown women seem to keep this childhood fantasy alive,” she continued.
“Look at the pomp and circumstance surrounding the royal wedding and the endless chatter about Princess Kate.”
Well, after combing through Meghan’s every online utterance for the past seven years, British tabloid media have finally found a reference she made to a member of the royal media.
At letter gleefully stating this as proof that Meghan lied when she said she never wanted to be a royal, and in fact “never looked up” the Windsor clan before meeting Harry.
Ironically, of course, Meghan’s brief allusion to Kate is the classic exception that proves the rule:
