Meghan Markle Scores Major Legal Victory Over Shady Half-Sister!

While Meghan Markle’s battle against the royal family tends to get the most press coverage, the Duchess’s never-ending battle against her imaginary half-sister is bonkers.

It’s easy to see why the media prefers to focus on wars that feature kings, dukes, and other good Englishmen as villains.

But Meghan’s enemies in America are more colorful, deranged, and their efforts to destroy her are often the same schemes that Pinky and the Brain would do if someone spiked a water bottle with meth.

Take, for example, Samantha Markle’s current lawsuit against Meghan.

As part of Sam’s ongoing efforts to maintain a death grip on Meghan’s clothes, the elder Markle is suing his sister for defamation, saying Meghan told damaging lies during an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2020.

In fact, Meghan says she barely knows her half-siblings, a statement that clearly undermines Sam’s career as the World’s Leading Meghan Expert.

Samantha will almost certainly lose (the judge has described her case as “ripe for dismissal”), but since the main goal here is to stay relevant and embarrass Meghan, then, she wins just by forcing this case to go to trial.

That’s why the latest development in the case is considered a win for Meg and her legal team.

Sam is desperate to move into the “discovery” portion of the trial in the hope that Meghan will be forced to sit down for a deposition.

(Said depo will almost certainly result in Sam’s type of media circus coming to life.)

Meanwhile, lawyers for Meghan are trying to delay as long as possible in the hope that the case will be dismissed before a deposition is required.

And according to a new report from Newsweek, the deadline for the next round of submissions has been pushed back to July 3, which is good news for Tim Markle.

“The accused [Meghan] state that'[m]Ost of the proposed non-party deponents have nothing to do with the statements in the issue [plaintiffs first amended complaint],’” read the order from the order of Magistrate Judge Thomas G. Wilson read.

“That’s how the defendant started [Meghan] stating that the plaintiff’s proposal is moot, it will be rejected.”

The delay raises the possibility that Meghan’s lawyers will have a response to a motion to dismiss the case before they have to give a deposition.

From the start, Meghan’s lawyers have argued that the Princess’s deposition would create an unnecessary spectacle.

Lawyers previously stated in court filings:

“Mr. Markle’s deposition at this time, along with other discovery, would be an unnecessary spectacle and a waste of time, money, and resources.”

So on July 3, the case will be thrown out of court, or Meghan will prepare herself for another battle against her evil sister.

Either way, it will be a very important Independence Day in the perennial battle between the Markles!
