Chairman of the McDan Group and McDan Foundation, Dr. Daniel good McKorley has donated Five hundred (500) bags of Dzata cement to Muslims in Sunyani.
The donation is to help complete the ultra modern mosque under construction.
Daniel McKorley also helped Muslims with cash donations.
Making the donation, Dr. McKorley said the Mosque is one of the largest mosques in Sunyani Township where many Muslims worship, which is one of the reasons for the donation.
“We saw the project when we came here and thought it was wise to help fasten the process to the end of success,” he said.
Furthermore, he thanked God Almighty for protecting him and his family and prayed for health and prosperity in the years to come.
Naa Alhaji Sulemana Yusif Gangu, the leader of Dagomba Sunyani, who received the goods, thanked the Chairman of the McDan Group for his gesture.
He said he was surprised by McDan’s act of generosity and thanked him for his kindness and prayed that God would help him throughout his life.
He said that the expansion of the mosque has been supported by many individuals including government employees, private workers and philanthropists.
He said he admired McDan’s love for all people regardless of religious or political background and his selfless service to help develop the country.
He thanked McDan on behalf of the entire Muslim community and prayed for him.
