wow! These two are moving FAST!
Matthew Lawrence I was surprised to be candid about his love life – just a month after finalizing his divorce Cheryl Burke! In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight there, the 43-year-old revealed his new girlfriend chillies – yes, that, from TLC Fame! — have started planning to start a family together! He said:
“That’s the game plan. That’s what we’re going to do.”
What?? Already!?

At Boy Meets World The alum is clearly not worried about her future with the singer, who she calls “a really, really special person,” as she added:
“Life is always a surprise. My life is in full bloom now. I get to spend time with an amazing woman like Chilli. I’ve never been able to experience that kind of relationship before, so it’s pretty special. She’s a special person. I want more people on the planet like him. We’ll be better off.”
Oh! Super cute! But we can’t help but wonder if this is just the honeymoon phase of talking? As we already know, the couple was first spotted together in August during a trip to Hawaii. Matthew and his ex-husband Cheryl Burke annulled the marriage last February before finalizing the divorce in September. Matthew hardly had time to be sad about the separation since January, the ’90s heartthrob confirmed his romance with the ’90s pop icon, was born. Rozonda Thomasand they’ve been showing off a lot of PDA since!

Breaking the silence in the separation from the Dance With The Stars pro, Matthew notes:
“It’s tested me and I’ve learned a lot about myself, and I’m grateful and blessed for the opportunity to grow and what came out of it.”
Such a positive outlook! Fans can be obsessed with the ’90s power couple, but that’s it Mrs. Doubtfire alum did not live in the past for long before quickly decided to share how they first met No Scrubs vocalist, sharing:
“So we’re in this thing. We’re at work. We’re just saying hello over there and probably nothing, but there’s this big snowstorm. I have to go back to work, so I asked him [the airline] to change my flight around. The only flight I can get is a connecting flight through Atlanta. He lives in Atlanta. So, he flew on the plane. So, it’s really a plane, talking and then saying, ‘Hey, let’s keep in touch.’ That’s really what was created, and it almost didn’t happen. I mean, literally, an hour before the plane took off they were like, ‘Okay, you got this plane. You must go.’ So that’s how it is.”
It is meant to be! But, uh… when is the flight? After breaking up with Cheryl, right? Um… Maybe not? See, they’ve been friends for months, as noted:
“It’s just a real friendship, you know, five or six months, just talking on the phone long distance, like, getting to know each other, meeting here. But, really, staying friends and being, you know, let’s keep it a priority here. We want to know what we’re all about. We don’t want to take this too fast.
OK, do a little math… They were first spotted in August, subtract six months, you have… February. But when they were spotted, it was in Hawaii. Not exactly a first date, is it? Hmm… So have they been saying “as friends” since before they broke up?
While we don’t know exactly when Matthew and Chilli first got together romantically, it’s clear they’ve been in overdrive ever since! Matthew even gets to spend time with the 25-year-old pop star’s son Tronwhich he shared with his ex Dallas Austin. In all the same with the couple, they say:
“It’s weird, you know, we have the same upbringing. We have the same family. There’s a similarity you don’t always think between us and it really works.
