Real Housewives of Miami cast members Julia Lemigovaher husband, a tennis superstar Martina Navratilovahave only been diagnosed with two forms of cancer.
Almost 13 years after being diagnosed with non-invasive breast cancer, which was beatable in just six months with a lumpectomy and six weeks of radiation, Martina confirmed her diagnosis of Stage 1 throat cancer and revealed the early stage findings. BREAST cancer.
“It’s a serious double whammy but it’s still fixable, and I hope to successfully agree,” Martina, 66, told Tennis.com on January 2. “It’s going to stink for a while, but I’ll fight with everything I have. I’ve got it.”
According to Martina, she was at the WTA Finals in Fort Worth, Texas, last November when she noticed that one of the lymph nodes in her neck was swollen and ended up having a biopsy. Later, when further tests were done, she found out that she also had breast cancer.
