Last week’s episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey it’s time for tears and hilarious feuds.
This week, Jennifer Aydin and Margaret Josephs. They trade nasty barbs.
Both women went right for the jugular, but Margaret caused a stir with insults spilling over on social media, dividing fans.
When Teresa said it was better to have Margaret as a friend than an enemy, she was right.
In this week’s episode of RHONJJennifer Aydin accused Margaret Josephs of being a “bad friend”.
Margaret’s response? “You’re nothing but a little drug addict!”
The answer came in the form of a shout, when Jennifer Fessler interceded for calm. Even though it was on camera, she worried what her neighbors would think if they overheard the nasty exchange.
Margaret was referring to marijuana, apparently, which has fans live-tweeting to wonder if it even counts.
Marijuana is a drug. The same goes for alcohol. So is aspirin. And so is caffeine.
Some note that “there is nothing wrong” with smoking marijuana, which is true. But to say that there is something “wrong” with other drugs or addiction (legal or otherwise) is a moralizing of illness. Topic, complex subject. A strange place to insult.
Then, Jennifer (Aydin) brushes it off, telling Teresa Giudice that she thinks Margaret is just “jealous”.
Actually, more clearly, he declared that “he hates the king.” And he didn’t stop there.
“But then again, he’s jealous, he’s the king of jealousy,” Jennifer said. “I’m living a f-king dream.”
Remember, Margaret and Jennifer had clashed over Bill Aydin’s cheating. Why? Because Jennifer stayed with him.
“I love the life we’ve created together and I know that bothers you a lot,” Jennifer teased in the confessional.
“I know you’d be happy if I just got a divorce and destroyed my house,” he continued. “But I don’t run when I see unhappiness, so f–k you.”
Anyway, Teresa Giudice discussed her upcoming wedding. She hopes to honor her late parents by including a personal message on her bridal veil.
“It just came to me – another word: Semper Insieme. It means always together,” he said.
This is from a woman who constantly scrambles words, memorably said “blow my casket” during dinner.
Teresa then burst into tears, revealing that the sentence had appeared in her parents’ mausoleum.
“Don’t make me cry,” Milania told her mother.
It’s hard to see your mother, or someone you love, cry.
Later, at her daughter Danielle’s birthday party, Teresa opens up about keeping Margaret on her arm despite ostensibly making it up.
“It is better to have Margaret as a friend than as an enemy,” he thought. That is true for many people, but especially for Housewives.
Teresa then gave advice to new players: “Do your homework and pay attention.” Spoken like a real mother of four.
