This is the episode from The Real Housewives of New Jersey called “Shots and Shades.” There will be fire hazard shots – and drinking – and plenty of shade to show. Let’s get GTL started, shall we?
Danielle this is a meeting Rachel to go shopping for a Luau party at Missy G’s beach house. Rachel is thankful that she has Danielle back to normal. Danielle shared that she hadn’t been to the beach in a while. He spends his time with the gym, tan, and laundry and has not participated in the lifestyle. Danielle describes an emotional conversation she had with Joe about her family. He thinks that the family split is a lost cause and that Rachel doesn’t know if you don’t talk to your own brother. One thing I will say about this topic is that at least Danielle is honest Gorgas has dragged us into dysfunction without resolution for years with no end in sight.
Danielle shares a conversation about Margaret and trying to figure out what was wrong with him and Jennifer. He thought that Margaret didn’t seem too intimidating to her players, but she was like a dangerous pit bull. I was really upset by that statement because pit bulls get a bad rap and they can be loving dogs. Danielle, who has obviously been drinking Tre-aid now, believes that Marge has an arsenal of things against her friends and that her Ex-BFF Laura is the source. Rachel is confused that Danielle is focusing on what Jennifer and Teresa are saying and not talking to Marge about her side.
Teresa and Jennifer to a jewelry store owned by Bill’s cousin. I had her get her engagement ring appraised so she could make sure it was legit and not cubic zirconia. Teresa bought bracelets for her bridesmaids, and Louie footed the bill. How does unemployed Louie pay the bills?
Teresa talks about getting together with Joe at the game. They will love the invitation to the beach house. Tre and Jennifer believe that Margaret is allowed to stay at their house because she stays close to Marge because she has dirt.
Dolores and Paul discusses his heart problems and that he is not going to the beach because he is healed. He points out that he’s staying with Rachel and not at Frank’s house like he used to. Paul and Dolores both agree that they need to set boundaries with Frank and not stay at his house.
Jennifer and Bill discuss Dr. Judy’s session. He didn’t like how Bill became a Confucian in a crisis. Jennifer just wants Bill to stand up for her. After Jennifer mentioned Confucius, I started looking at Bill as a person and came up with what Confucius said to Jennifer. Maybe this is for Marge: “Before you start your journey of revenge, dig two graves.” This will be a good thing about friendship with Teresa: “True knowledge is knowing the truth of not knowing.” Side note: How awesome would it be for Bill to channel Confucius at ITM and share his wise teachings with this group? It will be hilarious because logic will be lost and misconstrued with this group!
Melissa and Joe have a beach party. They are planning Hawaiian Jersey is sneaky Luau. The production shows that other people have houses, but explain that the Aydin people only have a town house with used furniture and sheets? Come on now, in another house you have 20 toilets, but you don’t have extra sheets for this place? I secretly love Teresa not knowing she sleeps in an old house on an old sheet!
Danielle, Nate, Teresa, and Louie stay with Jennifer. Teresa, with her crispy fried honker, and Louie try to get along with Joe and Melissa on this trip. Side note: What Dr. Bill will school this group at the risk of too much sunlight? I’d love to see a dermatologist next season with one of those lights that shows all your skin imperfections. Can you imagine the cracks in the crust that this crew will find?
DoloresRachel, and John stayed in Jane F.’s place. We are shown what is happening in each house and talk about the rest. Teresa points out that she never stayed at Joe’s house and throws out without context that Melissa won’t let Gia stay there. Jackie and Evan who remains there as well, and it takes tiresome that Jackie is obsessed with Danielle, aka aisle cleaning Snooki.
The party decorations looked fun, and the food looked good. I have to break to Missy G. that Cigars are not in Hawaiian theme, Darling. Marge asks Rachel about Danielle’s comment. He finds Danielle too bougie and won’t listen to input from someone who is only concerned with wealth, possessions, and honor. Well, it’s definitely disrespectful because he’s the player he is now.
Jennifer was knocking back a cocktail and wearing an ill-fitting dress that looked like her breasts would pop out any second. He lends credence to Marge’s claim that she is rude. Marge questions Tre about his comments to Danielle and keeping her enemies close, and Tre downplays her comments. Tre asked Rachel why she spilled this and she wanted to be transparent with her. Teresa thinks it’s high school behavior. The production shows that high school behavior is something only he knows. Marge feels like Tre is ruining her character. He asks if they are really good with each other. Side note: This player obviously needs to bring a dictionary because he doesn’t know what women are looking down on and has an arsenal of them.
Bill now takes alcohol poured down his throat and dances with hula dancers. OMG, Bill crawled on the pier! The Jersey guys thought it would please John Fuda on camera. John was a good sport when he was painfully tearing his chest hair.
Frank encourages Dolores to push Paul further. He wants Dolores to fix it and he doesn’t want to back down. Teresa points out that there will be no seating at the party. He was then asked about Melissa’s mother Donna not being invited. Tre mentioned that he is still mad at his family when they trash talked him 10 years ago on social media. He believed it because he was busy cast in the show they are jealous. Tre will forgive but never forget. Louie then let Tre know that he talked to Donna and apologized for the slight wedding that annoys her. Side note: Louie is the sneaky link with throwing Tre under the bus and pretending like he’s a peacekeeper.
The ladies take a group shot and all comment on how good they look – because the clear shot has an automatic filter in order to remove all the sun damage on the face. Jackie tries to get Jennifer to make up with Marge to no avail. Jennifer can’t understand how Marge’s actions affect her children.
Danielle heard her name being mentioned and wanted to clear up what she was accused of. He made up about when he was a child being bullied by mean girls. Danielle hopes that her daughter never had to deal with that nonsense, and she is triggered by being a topic of conversation.
Danielle is upset that revealing her problems with her sister has now caused her character to be called into question. He was annoyed that Jackie started a fire about him. Danielle claims that Jackie is jealous of the fact that she is a better version of the Staten Island girl and acts like a miserable b*tch.
Louie then strangely points out that he wears Papa Gorga pajamas to bed so he can make the girls feel safe and loved. He’s actually a wolf in sheep’s clothing wearing your beloved grandma’s pajamas! Tre believes Joey needs to get therapy because he keeps blaming her for everything. I’m going to need therapy after imagining Louie walking around in his dead dad’s pajamas! Danielle is now learning that when you run a trap on this show – word will spread like wildfire and there will always be someone lighting up the match…
Next week, we have another beach drama. See you there for the last episode of RHOM, and I have something to share with you all this Friday, so stay tuned for RB news! Happy Wednesday, Blurers!
