President Akufo Addo also in a tweet expressed his condolences to the family and friends who are saddened by the death of Ghanaian star Christian Atsu.
The 31-year-old man has been missing since his building collapsed in the February 6 earthquake.
“Atsu’s lifeless body was found under the rubble. Now, more things are still being brought out. The phone was also found,” Uzunmehmet told reporters.
Tributes have poured in from all corners following news of the former Chelsea and Newcastle United player’s death.
