Ahead of the May 2023 NDC presidential and parliamentary elections, the Akatsi South branch of the party, under the leadership of Mr. Anthony Kwadzo Owusu (Westfalia), has promised to mobilize no less than 100% of votes for former President HE John Dramani. Mahama, the hopeful presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Party (NDP) in the upcoming polls.
The party led by Mr. Owusu said that they want a safer country, a prosperous economy, and better for all, so they must support an experienced leader who is ready to fight against other presidential candidates.
Reiterating the statement made by the Akatsi South constituency on Friday, Mr. Samuel BK Nugblega, a parliamentary aspirant, also noted that he has appointed some 28 coordinators in the constituency as part of the strategy to achieve the target set by the party.
He said, “former President John Dramani Mahama will not only bring stability and prosperity, but will also bring sustainable growth so that we can create a new generation of political, business and economic leaders, create manufacturing opportunities, build new companies. provide social infrastructure, guiding new entrepreneurs, and strengthening small and medium-sized enterprises, which are the foundation for a serious and successful country.
However, Mr. Samuel BK Nugblega called on Akatsi people at home and abroad to forget their political affiliations and see their future in him as the next parliamentary candidate of the opposition NDC.
Japhet Festus Gbede also explained to the media why he thinks former President John Dramani Mahama should be voted into power.
Mr. Gbede, the outspoken former deputy communications officer revealed some of the key factors, saying, “It is too late to fail.” Ghana’s success is non-negotiable; the Ghanaian dream must be realized. Whether the child is from Sremanu, Have, or Wuxor, the child has the right to a decent life and the opportunity to achieve his dreams under the next NDC government led by former President Mahama.
