As fans know, the pair fell in and out of love after meeting in the pods during season three. Netflix Real performance. Despite experiencing some ups and (many) downs when they returned to the real world, the two continued to say “I Do” at the altar during the season finale. While things seemed to be going well between them long after the show ended, she wasn’t wearing the engagement ring her husband gave her — something fans pointed out in the comments section of her post! Now, Colleen comes forward to reveal what happened. And no, it’s not something else Love Is Blind divorce announcement!

The reality star took to Instagram Stories was there to answer some fan questions. When someone asked about her ring, Colleen shared a picture of her showing off that finger with a thin silver band and notes that she no longer wears an engagement ring:
“I always wear a band, but I wait for him to get down on his knees with my own eyes.”
Why isn’t she wearing bling these days? The ballet dancer explained that Matt originally gave her a two- to three-carat oval solitaire diamond with a simple band. But the problem was the ring didn’t fit and the diamond “popped” the day after she got it! Oh no! When another follower asked for clarification that the ringtone from the show was bad, Collen replied:
“There might be some… improvement.”

Love Is Blind fans know the ring situation is not the only time the couple has raised some eyebrows. During the show’s reunion episode, Colleen and Matt revealed that they still don’t live together even though they’ve been married for over a year! The 27-year-old player told the host Nick and Vanessa Lachey if the decision is not only to rent, but they want to do it quickly after the event:
“It’s because of the fact that we want to take it slow. I mentioned at the reunion that we got married in a strange way so we got married in a strange way. It’s very difficult to explain, but it works for us now. We really just want to not mess this up and jump right into the shared space, just slow down. We can’t wait to move in around May next year, hopefully we can buy a house, ben can see.”
Beyond their living conditions, fans are concerned about other things, speculating about some major red flags from their behavior and what they think they are afraid of during the reunion. However, she shut down the abuse allegations several times, including in an Insta post that read:
“During the reunion, I was not comfortable because of the negative comments I experienced. I will be honest that I let the internet destroy me and take the light from me. He did everything possible to put a smile back on my face and bring me back. I held him for his support. He reassured me that I would be OK. Watching it all again and filming the reunion just brought us closer than we ever imagined. I can’t thank him enough for me.
