Lorna Maseko celebrates her daughter’s second birthday 



Television personality and celebrity chef Lorna Maseko has never publicly acknowledged having children until recently.

Although pregnancy is South Africa’s worst kept secret, she managed to avoid the cameras during her pregnancy. Now, two years after the birth of her first child, Maseko is celebrating a baby girl.

He took to Instagram to send a reel of some highlights of the baby girl’s journey and wrote; “Happy 2nd birthday to my beautiful daughter. You mean the absolute world to me and you make it ALL worth it…. You are the smartest (and talkative lol) little human and I pray that you will know the love and peace of God. Just know that I will always be there for you!”

Maseko made sure to include only photos and videos where the child’s face was not clear and did not mention her daughter’s name.

Floyd Shivambu gossip

For years, Lorna Maseko was rumored to be romantically involved with Economic Freedom Fighters’ Floyd Shivambu.

At the end of September 2020, tabloids World Sunday it is reported that she is pregnant with Shivambu’s child.

He hit out at the report at the time, calling it “really disgusting” that people can report something that is not “real”.

Maseko seems to indicate that not only is she pregnant, but she is also suffering from reproductive health issues.

“Women go through so many problems: fibroids (I have), endometriosis and more. You don’t understand people’s stories-STOP IT!!” he said on Twitter at the time.

At the time, City Press reported that the baby was due in May.

‘Homegrown Rasa’ season two

Lorna Maseko recently welcomed another baby after launching the second season of her BBC Lifestyle show Homegrown South African Taste.

Speaking to The Citizen, Maseko highlighted how his aim has always been to put local food on the map which means highlighting local farmers, indigenous food and ingredients.

In the event, Lorna Maseko traveled to many regions to celebrate local products.
