Two units were taken offline for repairs

The electricity utility further explained that from Saturday two generation units at Arnot, one unit at Camden, Duvha and Kendal power stations were taken offline for repairs.

“The return to service of generating units each at Kendal and Lethabo power stations has been delayed while the units at Duvha and Lethabo power stations have returned to service.”

“Breakdowns now amount to 15 215MW of generating capacity while 5 199MW of generating capacity is out of service to plan maintenance.”
