A 4-year-old boy has gone missing in Oklahoma.
According to local authorities, the search for Athena Brownfield since Tuesday afternoon when a postal worker found his 5-year-old sister alone near the children’s home in Cyril. The worker informed the police, according to Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigationwho participated in the search.
Athena is described as 3 feet tall and 45 pounds with light brown hair and blue eyes. He believed he was finally wearing a butterfly hoodie.

The agency announced every Tuesday ABC News:
“The investigation into his whereabouts is active and ongoing.”
On Wednesday, the Oklahoma highway patrol issued a missing and endangered person alert, for people within a 15-mile radius of Cyril – which is about 70 miles southwest of Oklahoma City. Officials are working to create a timeline of events, including when Athena was last seen and where her parents are. Brooke working peopleA spokesman for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said:
“Right now our top priority is finding her and choosing who is responsible will come next. But we need to find this girl.”
It is “undetermined” whether the child was a victim of physical harm, although he is considered to be in danger at this time:
“He’s a kid and he’s lost, and he’s alone in the elements.”
The sister did not require medical attention and is currently in custody in the state.

As part of the search, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Childrensoldiers from Fort Sill, search dogs from Oklahoma Department of Correctionsand drones from Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs have joined the search. State troopers also conducted sonar searches of water in the area, while volunteers also searched vacant homes and local waterways, according to police.
While Athena has not been found, Brook noted authorities found items in the city that “could be relevant,” adding:
“We found something that we hope will give us a clue.”
People in the area are being asked to share surveillance footage from local shops and doorbell cameras. I hope they find this little girl ASAP! You can hear more about the case (below).
