Two of the Lisa VanderpumpA popular Los Angeles restaurant has been issued a liquor license.
Ahead of the next two busy weekends in the city, which hosts the 95th Academy Awards on March 12, and will certainly be the scene of many celebrations of St. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum businesses, Pump and TomTom, both in West Hollywood, failed to pay liquor license fees.
According to a report from WEHO TIMES on March 9, the latest details on TomTom and Pump’s liquor licenses show that they have been suspended by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) since Wednesday, March 8.
Although Lisa’s place can continue normal business, because it can take up to six weeks for the expiration date to be renewed after fee waivers or renewal fees are submitted, the two restaurants now show a hold on the license described as “B / E Collection [Suspensions].”
As a fan of Lisa, who is also a star Vanderpump Ruleswell known, longtime restauranteur co-owner of Pump, which opened in May 2014 with his wife, Ken Todd. And when it comes to TomTom, which has been open since July 2018, he has that space with Ken, Tom Sandovaland Tom Schwartz.
Around this time two years ago, Pump made headlines when it was issued an “indefinite” ban by the California Franchise Tax Board. At the time, The Sun pointed out that certain types of suspensions that Pump was taking were usually in response to a business’s failure to file or pay taxes or interest owed.
And months earlier, after a tarp and a rental truck appeared on the premises, an insider confirmed that the restaurant was not closing.
“The restaurant has put up tarps and covers in preparation for the rain that usually comes this time of year. They’re moving tables to keep customers six feet away from outdoor dining,” a source told Us Weekly at the time.
“Pompa and SUR are closed starting Wednesday due to the ban on restaurants, breweries, wineries and bars in Los Angeles County for at least three weeks amid a surge in coronavirus cases,” he said.
