Shutterstock (3)The boss considers. Lisa Vanderpump explaining her initial response to Tom Sandoval and Rachel Lewis‘ affair – and revealed how the scandal can affect Vanderpump Rules.
“I have no words. I did not see it coming – no one saw it coming,” the The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 62, told Andy Cohen while looking at it Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday March 8 “I have seen Ariana and I have [filmed] with him. It is now an integral part of the story. I will tell you the words to use [to describe her] it’s broken.”
Vanderpump noted that the drama changed her opinion of Leviss, 28, adding, “I don’t know who Raquel is. She stuck her thumb in Peter [Madrigal] pool, he snagged Oliver [Saunders]she schmoozed with it [Tom] Schwartz and he shagged Scandoval.
During the live show, the restaurant weighed in on many of Sandoval’s public statements regarding the scandal.
“Obviously because he got a reaction to the first apology he felt was necessary [write a second one] for Ariana. But I think this apology doesn’t match the paper or social media it was written on,” he shared. “I want to see genuine remorse and when the reunion comes, I hope we can all sit down and have a better understanding.”
According to the British native, the recent events will have an impact on the hit reality series going forward.
“We will have a better understanding when we go through the reunion. But I think it will be very difficult. I don’t think it will be the same reunion where there are accusations flying because they confess,” he detailed. “I think it will be difficult. … This is huge. This is breaking up a couple that have been together for [nearly 10] years and treachery. [Raquel] act like wolves in sheep’s clothing.”
Vanderpump also asked Bravo viewers to tone down their anger toward Sandoval and Leviss on social media. “It’s a show though [the cast is] everything hurts. And I’m not saying that we should let it go,” he said. “Do what you do but don’t punish the people. All this [online] aggression has serious ramifications. I mean – I think everyone should be careful.
The Bravo personality previously admitted she was struggling with the devastating news of Sandoval’s split from Ariana Madix. “I’m not sure my heart is done,” she tweeted to Cohen, 54, on Friday, March 3, in response to a post about having a long. Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion.
Vanderpump’s comments came after Us Weekly It was confirmed that Madix, 37, and Sandoval called it quits because of his infidelity. “He’s been in trouble for a while,” a source said ushe was listening that “just came to the breaking point” when the Florida native was made aware that the businessman was not loyal to Leviss.
Before the news broke, the Fancy AF cocktails the author deleted all her social media platforms. Sandoval, however, issued a statement after his restaurant received harsh reviews in response to the controversy.
Sandoval went on to post a second apology after fans questioned why he didn’t mention his ex-girlfriend in a public message.
“I want to apologize to everyone I hurt during this process. Most importantly, I want to apologize to Ariana,” Sandoval wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, March 7. “I made mistakes, I was selfish and I made reckless decisions that hurt the people I love. No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly.
He added: “I can only imagine how much damage it must have caused to Ariana and everyone around us. I feel terrible about this. My biggest regret is that I let Ariana down. I never let so many people down, including our family and friends that we love.
Leviss, for his part, also addressed the controversy in a statement. “I want to apologize for my actions and my choices are most important to Ariana, and to my friends and fans to invest in our relationship,” the beauty pageant contestant wrote on Wednesday. “There’s no excuse, I’m not a victim and I have to take action and I’m very sorry for hurting Ariana.”
The Missouri native’s costars quickly chose Madix’s side before Leviss’s response. Lala Kentrung took to social media, writing through Instagram Stories on Friday, “Oh Sandoval … Your problem with me is that I am a little too real for your comfort. I have seen you for that for a long time, and you are not like that. However, I think now it’s time for you to close fk. I eat well when I see you.”
Christian Doute, who had previously dated Sandoval, offered him support for Madix. “I don’t know why I feel the need to explain this, but now a lot of people think it makes me happy,” he said. Vanderpump Rules alum, 40, said through Instagram Stories at the time. “And you, Ariana and I have been good friends for years. So, I’m team Ariana – all day, every day. That’s it.”
Since the affair made headlines, Leviss filed for an order of protection Scheana Shay after a physical altercation between the costars. Vanderpump, for her part, directed the drama in response to fan questions WWHLsaid, “I think [Scheana] yes it is. I think he slapped her. Her feelings were so high.
