Add Chesteldest daughter, Delilah Belle Hamlinopened up about the health scares he had while shooting his debut single.
Talk to Entertainment Tonight Friday, the 24-year-old model revealed that she suffered from “painful” seizures on the second day of filming the video for her song. Nothing Lasts Forever. He recalled to the outlet:
“On the second day of shooting the music video, it was like nine hours a day and I had a seizure… We didn’t know much about him yet. Even though it’s been years, we’re still trying to figure it out. I ended up having a seizure.”

Delila described the incident as “terrifying pain”, and noted, “Maybe this is one of the worst, but I have all the people I love.” Despite the scary situation, the former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star thought it was “a beautiful thing,” and “can bring that emotion to the shooting the next day.” And at the end of the day, Delilah is “proud” of herself after what happened:
“I was like, I do this all the time. It’s usually me now. I’m just like, ‘Okay, wake up.’ When you don’t feel good, but you have to do the day. Lisa always taught me [that] if you, like die, if you vomit, if you vomit, follow the day. Go and do it. Show up for work. So I tried. I always try my best. There are days when I really can’t, but I try my best.”
As you can see, the social media influencer has dealt with a number of health issues over the years – and has not been shy about opening up about it with her fans. Delilah previously revealed in January that she struggles with several autoimmune and chronic illnesses, including Lyme disease, Epstein-Barr virus, encephalitis, and Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated with Streptococcal Infection. He said in the post Instagram Stories in time:
“I haven’t talked about health lately, [and] if you’re new here you’re probably confused, but for the past few years I’ve been struggling with an autoimmune problem/chronic illness that I’ve been silently fighting and overcoming. It’s definitely tough mentally along with physically. I just kept quiet because I didn’t want to be put in the ‘sick’ role.”
Back in November 2012, he was hospitalized for an accidental overdose after mixing prescription drugs propranolol and Benadryl. Delilah also told me that she became dependent Xanax after the psychiatrist allegedly overprescribed her medication – and she has been sober since:
“I have faced a lot, overcome a lot, and I know that I will go through this for a reason and the reason is to share what I have done and what I have learned with you.”
He must have been through a lot over the past few years with his health! We’re glad Delilah is okay after her scary seizure! Reaction, Perezcious readers? Let us know in the comments below.
