Add Chest going through the stags of grief after he left January of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
During her appearance on Thursday, Lisa revealed what she misses most from her time on the show when she said whether she would watch season 13 and revealed that she and her friends were given a glam budget for the show.
“Not. Zero,” Lisa confirmed on the April 13 episode of Discussion. “We dress ourselves and do our own hair and makeup or you have to hire your own hair and makeup, except when you’re doing the interview part … they do it. How about that? There’s a lot of self-dressing.”
When Lisa was later asked if she and her friends had ever texted before about what they had planned for certain events, Lisa insisted that she didn’t remember any accidental “twin” sessions. Erika Jayne.
“I showed up at Erika Jayne’s house and we were wearing the same dress. It’s true. It’s a true story and we screamed out loud,” Lisa said. “I mean, come on, what are the chances of wearing the same dress to a wedding? And we’ve done it twice since then.
Although Lisa didn’t put a figure on how much she spent, she joked that during her eight years there, she “spent everything. [her] money, quite a lot, in the wardrobe.”
“I’m talking shoes and jewelry,” he continued. “You have to be like a little mini-stylist. It’s a bit of a challenge but I do it. I’m richer now than before because now I don’t spend all my money on clothes. So think [Dorit Kemsley] and all her clothes, and Erika and all her clothes. I mean, we support designers. We really are the same.
Fortunately, Lisa’s wife, Harry Hamlinnot nearly as high-maintenance.
“There aren’t two people in the house who buy as much as I do,” she points out. “Harry’s been wearing the same black shirt every day for the last eight years, at least. So we’ve been saving and spending.
During the rest of the show, Lisa talked about missing RHOBA.
“I think I’m still sad because I haven’t entered yet [RHOBH] for two months,” Lisa admitted. “I miss the cast and the crew. I mean, I’ve been with the same crew for eight years, all of us. And it’s been tough and I’ll say I’m still going through the grieving process. I’m still in [the stages of grief]. They are filming right now. I don’t. And I miss the connection with people.
In addition to missing the people she worked with, Lisa said she struggled to get the series off the ground.
“You’re dealing with real emotions. I’m not playing a so-called character. So it’s almost more difficult because when you play a character, in a way you can remove it, I think it’s different than when you’re alone,” he explained. “These people have always been in my life, in my house, with my children, with my husband, for eight years. It’s been a long time.”
Regarding whether or not she will tune in for season 13, Lisa said, “I don’t know.”
“Now I have to get rid of it in order to move forward,” she said. “Weird. I don’t know. I was sure, like anything, when I left Days of our liveswhen i left Melrose Place, the project that I have for a long time, I think it happens with all projects because they become your life. That’s your life.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is in production and is expected to start airing on Bravo sometime later this year.
