It’s the end of an era on Bravo.
After eight drama-filled seasons, filled with tears and fights, Lisa Rinna has confirmed that she is leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“This is the longest project I’ve done in my 35-year career and I’m grateful to everyone at Bravo and everyone involved with the series,” Rinna told various celebrity gossip outlets in a statement on Friday.
“It’s been an exciting eight years and I’m excited for what’s to come!”

Technically, Rinna wasn’t fired; or he stopped.
The former soap actress’ contract actually expired at the end of season 12 and Rinna said that she has been considering her options since then, finally reaching the decision to pursue another opportunity.
Rinna joined the franchise in its fifth season, which began in 2014.
Almost immediately, he was in the middle of one of the most memorable altercations when he threw a glass of wine at the then-Costar Kim Richards… which had given Rinna did not want something to get out about her husband, Harry Hamlin.
The Days of Our Lives alum has also been known over the years for his “He, baby” catchphrase, which is a mentality he subscribes to throughout the program.

Loyal viewers, however, should not be surprised by this development.
In Season 12, Rinna often hits it off with Kathy Hilton.
During the dramatic reunion, Kathy slammed Rinna as “the biggest bully in Hollywood.”
Not long after that, Rinna was greeted with boos at BravoCon 2022.

At one point during her run, Rinna shared a photo back before Housewives on her Instagram Story, writing:
“I’m Lisa F—in Rinna before HW and I’ll be Lisa F—in Rinna After.”
She then followed the lyrics of “Roxie” next to Renée Zellweger’s image in Chicago 2002, a role that Rinna also portrayed on Broadway in 2007.
“I’m a star! And the audience loves me! And I love them. And he loves me because he loves me. And I love him for loving me. And we love each other. And that’s because none of us were loved enough when we were little. And that’s showbiz, kid,” the image read.

After the death of her mother Lois in November 2021, Rinna cited “sadness” as the basis of several social media rants, including against several Real Housewives of Dubai cast members.
“I’m having a really hard time, I think you’ve been through it,” Rinna wrote in July in a since-deleted Instagram post.
He further added:
“I’m sorry if I’ve been mad at you, it’s about you – it really has nothing to do with you.”

As for the response he received at BravoCon this summer?
‘”It’s a TV show, for God’s sake,” she told People Magazine a few months ago.
“Call me whatever you want, believe me whatever you want, I’m telling the truth. I always have. Go back there.”
The 13th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills — the first without Rinna in a decade — is expected to premiere on Bravo later this year.
