At Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein finally confirmed that she is indeed dating a businessman Jody Glidden after months of speculation and public appearances. According to Lisa, he may appear in the RHOM season five reunion.
“I guess it’s sort of a bag,” Lisa recently told Entertainment Tonight. “Yes, I’m dating. I’m dating this guy. He is a good man. He’s been super supportive of me… you may or may not see him at the reunion, but I don’t want to dive into that too much. We’ll see how it goes.
Lisa explains that she is very happy in her new relationship as she insists that it is “different from what I expected” compared to her marriage with her estranged husband. Dr. Lenny Hochsteinwith whom he is now embroiled in a nasty divorce battle.
“[He] have empathy, they care,” Lisa explained to the outlet. “[He] want to motivate me to be better, to be the best. So, there are a lot of things that I’m not used to or used to in my previous relationships.
Lisa says she’s lucky to have a healthy relationship at the moment as she sees “no end” to her contentious divorce from Lenny, comparing the ordeal to “death.”
“It was the darkest time of my life,” Lisa admitted. “Compare it to death, or worse; probably worse. Many people say it’s almost worse than death, depending on whether you’re reconciled or not, and I’m certainly not reconciled at this time.
RHOM viewers know full well that Lenny was caught in the hot mic moment, where he declared that he was not happy in his marriage to Lisa. Not long after releasing the “bombshell” news RHOM star, who quickly came out with the model Catherine Mazepa. After the public fight, Lisa says that she has no intention of paying any more attention to Katharina.
“I don’t know if I want to give them more attention, because it seems like they want it,” Lisa said. “So, I’d rather not talk about him, or that person…whoever that person is.”
In a shocking revelation, Lisa said that Lenny admits that he is not satisfied with his marriage in stark contrast to the words he spewed to her just two weeks earlier as she claims that she wants another child.
“Look, a few weeks ago [he asked for a divorce], we’re having dinner on camera with some friends, and he’s asking for a new baby!” Lisa revealed. “He’s asking for a third child, so I definitely didn’t think I was going to get a divorce, because how could I? You want a new addition to your family, but you want to divorce two weeks later?
Lisa also applauds Lenny’s accusation that he was treated as a “servant” during their marriage. The Bravo personality claimed that they joined RHOM to “promote” Lenny’s medical practice, and he now wants what is “rightfully” his.
“I think that’s inaccurate,” Lisa said. “Throughout my relationship with Lenny, I’ve always tried to please him they and be the best husband ever. We signed up for the event 10 or 11 years ago, with the understanding that I would help promote the business and what it had been doing for the past 15 years.
“I thought, it’s a win-win for both of us,” he continued. “And now, we’re getting divorced, and now I’m really just fighting for what I’m doing. I’m fighting for what I’ve helped him achieve.
Lisa also took the time to preview the upcoming drama season five reunion from RHOM.
“For a long time, there was a lot of yelling,” Lisa recalled. “It’s hard to get the words in, Andy [Cohen] it’s been super frustrating. He had to interrupt a lot on several occasions during the day, because no one allowed anyone else to speak.
“This is really bad,” he continued. “You know, after the shooting is over and the last nine months, it’s very difficult, because nobody knows about it, and a lot of focus is on it. And it’s hard to relive and talk about. There are things that I don’t want, but it’s too late. Like, people can catch that thing, and I have to deal with it.
Going forward, Lisa told the outlet that fans should be prepared to see “Lisa 2.0” in the future.
“There’s a lot of conversation, there’s a lot of things going on,” he teased. “But you have to adjust next season [of RHOM] to see all the things I want. But this will be Lisa 2.0, and instead of promoting Lenny for the past 15 years, I’ll be promoting myself. Finally.”
