Lindsay Hubbard revealed “the straw that broke the camel’s back” about him rift with Danielle Olivera. At Summer House star – who did not join the castmate Carl Radke Last August – also shared an update on her wedding plans.
The trailer for the new season teases a feud between Lindsay and Danielle, who were once strong allies. Many viewers were shocked to see glimpses of arguments and tensions amid their friendship.
Speaking to Us Weekly, Lindsay talked about the early stages of her split with Danielle.
“I’m looking forward to figuring it out along with the audience, because I spent the whole summer just confused,” he said. “I never thought that this is where our friendship would end.”
The star suggested her romance with Carl was a factor.
“When we got engaged and that way [Danielle] Reacted – it was kind of, like, the straw that broke the camel’s back,” shared Lindsay. “Because all summer I listened and heard all the hurtful things he said about us … It seemed like he was very supportive when we were walking in the summer and suddenly didn’t happen, and his dialogue was the opposite of that.”
Despite these problems, Lindsay has no hope of reconciliation. “I don’t think of anything in life that can’t be fixed. I don’t think of any relationship except that it’s, like, too violent to be fixed. I hope we can understand, maybe, from watching the show,” he said.
Lindsay is sure to “suck it up” watching the friendship go down the drain on the show. “It’s going to be really hard. Watching those scenes is probably going to be the hardest thing for me and I’m really scared,” Lindsay said. “Because life is difficult and now it is also difficult to live again. But I hope that each of us can listen to each other through television and see other people’s perspectives. Because we certainly did not do it this summer.
In an interview with E! News, Lindsay and her fiancé gave an update on their wedding plans.
“We are very close to locking everything down, this week or next week,” he said. “We are looking this year in the fall and it will be a big, big wedding. How long will we be able to get together-he is 38, I am 36 years old-I don’t think there is anyone in our lives who will let us get away with a small wedding, including Bravo.
She said planning her wedding “has been a huge challenge,” and Carl believes it’s because of the pandemic’s effect on the industry. Lindsay also talked about whether the wedding will be filmed.
“If we just got married with all the guests and friends, it would be one,” the 36-year-old said, “but if you’re thinking about filming, there are other criteria you have. to check.”
“It would be crazy for me — from season one to now — to suddenly not see our wedding,” Carl added. “We’ve been a big part of the show. You’ve seen our journey and now we’re together and you’re going to see the engagement this season and then not make a movie?
Lindsay continued, “Imagine if we were like, ‘Okay, that’s all you got from Carl and Lindsay.'”
Regarding the castmates who will be invited, Carl stated, “We are still working on the guest list… We have an idea of the number, but I don’t know. We still have time.”
Season seven of Summer House premieres on February 13 at 9 pm EST on Bravo.
