Lindsay Hubbard spoke of Summer House season 11 during an interview on Tuesday, describing the upcoming episodes as “old school.”
As she mentioned the “good time” she and her castmates were sure to have, Lindsay, 39, weighed in on the recent series departures of Amanda Batula, 34, and West Wilson, 31, confirmed where she stands with Amanda following the In the City reunion, and revealed if she’d be willing to film season two with the couple while also admitting to be surprised by Danielle Olivera‘s role on the show, offering an update on their relationship, and dishing on potential regrets.
“We’re all ready to put this scandal behind us. It’s going to be a good time,” Lindsay shared during a July 14 interview with Us Weekly, adding that the season would feel “old school” since “pretty much everyone is single.”
As for Amanda and West’s exits, Lindsay said it was the “right decision.”
“We need positive, fun vibes. Even if people wanted to hate-watch or watch it for the cringe, I don’t think it’d be fun for anyone else,” she reasoned.
Speaking of where she stands with Amanda now, Lindsay said they “haven’t really spoken” since filming the In the City reunion.
“We all went out to a bar afterward, and she was there, which I was actually shocked by, but I haven’t spoken to her since,” she revealed.
Although she is not in touch with Amanda or West, 31, Lindsay said she wouldn’t be against filming with them if they were included in In The City season two before admitting it might not be the best idea.
“I’m fine with a scandal that didn’t directly involve me. But I don’t think the fans are comfortable with that. And I’m not trying to piss our fans off. Lessons were learned during the Scandoval situation,” she stated.
Then, after saying that despite her “hard seasons,” she never considered quitting Summer House, Lindsay admitted to finding out Danielle joined In the City just one day before filming began.
“I was like, ‘I’m sorry. What’s happening?’” she recalled.
Following some rocky moments on In the City season one, Lindsay said she and Danielle were in “a good place.”
“I called her from France when I found out that she [and boyfriend Eoin Heavey] had baby Aiden … They were so excited … [And] I’m excited for this new chapter for her,” she shared.
Also during the interview, Lindsay said of potential regrets, “I try not to have too many regrets, even if I’m embarrassed by my actions. I just learn and adjust and grow as a human.”
In the City season one airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
