New details have emerged about it King Charles III‘s upcoming coronation – and it doesn’t look good for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry if they hope to have some sort of role in the celebration!
There has been a lot of back-and-forth about whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will attend the coronation in May. But now, the leaked plans for the show show that she will be absent from at least one part of the show! When the couple has been invited to the ceremony in May, the leaked training plan was obtained by The Times of London it was revealed that they were not included in the carriage procession from Westminster Abbey for Buckingham Palace after the king’s crown. But they weren’t the only family members who didn’t participate! That’s disgusting Prince Andrew and his children Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie they are also excluded from the plans. Ouch…

Why the pared-down procession? The outlet notes it will be “smaller – and cover a shorter route – than the procession after Queen Elizabeth‘s coronation” in 1953, meaning that only working members of the royal family would attend this time.
The royals who have a place in the procession are included Princess Anneand his wife, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, Prince Edward and his wife SophieDuke of Gloucester Prince Richard, BridgetteThe Duchess of Gloucesterand Prince Edward, Duke of Kent and his sister Princess Alexandra. And of course, Prince William and Princess Catherine AKA Kate Middleton will come, along with his three children. yes, Prince George, Princess Charlotteand even Prince Louiss is expected to join his parents behind his grandfather and step-grandfather, Queen Camilla, in procession! Since the 4-year-old is considered too young to walk in Queen Elizabeth’s funeral procession in September, there have been many questions about whether she will attend the upcoming event. But it looks like Louis will be there this time!
But for the Sussex children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, The Times confirmed earlier reports that they have not been invited. A previous source told The Telegraph when Megan and Harry found out that their 3-year-old (although Archie was 4 years old on the day of the coronation) and 1-year-old child were not included in the e-vite and asked about it, the royal office told the couple “too young” to attend. However, the insider noted that the invitation may come – depending on whether Megan and Harry decide to attend the ceremony.
There’s no word on whether Harry and Meghan will attend the coronation — but their exclusion from the procession will certainly come as a bit of a blow amid a nasty row with the royal family! Reaction, Perezcious readers? Let us know in the comments below!
