Leah Messer Pays For Sister’s Husband to Ditch His Kids In Costa Rica, Move to US Permanently

Leah Messer is at the center of another controversy.

But in what should be a refreshing change of pace, this time, the discussion has nothing to do with Leah’s love life, and instead centers around the relationship between her sister, Victoria Messer, and Victoria’s husband, Royer Rodriguez.

As you may recall, Victoria met and was impregnated by Royer while she and Leah were on vacation in Costa Rica in 2019.

Royer is the sisters’ rafting guide, and we think he has strong chemistry with Victoria.

Victoria and Royer finally tied the knot, but it was random 90 Day Engagement the viewer knows, marriage does not guarantee citizenship.

Funded by Leah, Victoria and Royer have jumped through one hoop after another in recent years, all with the goal of making Rodriguez an American citizen.

Last week, the couple went through another immigration interview in Pittsburgh, and although the process was supposed to be endless, their efforts have already paid off.

Victoria has announced that Royer is finally, officially a US citizen!

“This journey has been challenging, but we have succeeded and will continue to do so!” he wrote on Instagram.

Great news – but as I said before, the situation is not without controversy.

This is because Royer was already a father of two when he met Victoria.

Some commentators have expressed concern that Royer left his two eldest children to live in the United States.

“What about the children left behind in Costa Rica?” one of Victoria’s followers asked in the comments.

“So you all brought your children from your country so they could live again?” others asked.

Instead of addressing the haters individually, Victoria responded to them all at once.

“To all of Nancy and Karen’s negative comments about my husband having two children before he met me… The answer is: yes,” Victoria wrote on her Instagram Story, according to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup.

“She has two children in Costa Rica that she communicates with and makes sure they are taken care of,” Victoria said in her Instagram Story.

“Hopefully this step in our lives and our lives together will give more opportunities to our son and family. KEEP IT!”

Leah canceled Royer’s long and expensive campaign for citizenship, for which she also received criticism.

But unlike Victoria, she was chosen not to respond to naysayers who tried to rain on his family’s parade.

Is the situation complicated? Absolutely.

But we believe all parties involved know more about this than the people throwing stones from outside.

Our sincere congratulations go out to Victoria and Royer!
