“President Joe Biden. We don’t know what to do, Lord!” Boebert said. “It’s okay, we pray for our president. You know, it says: ‘Let him live a little longer and someone else will take his place.’
The audience could be heard laughing after the speech.
“That’s why I filed articles of impeachment for Joe Biden,” Boebert added. “Unfortunately, he has a very nice insurance policy named Kamala Harris.”
The phrase Boebert is referring to is from Psalm 109:8. Although Boebert mentions impeachment, the verse is widely interpreted as a call for the premature death of his enemies. It pops up in right-wing politics from time to time, including in 2016, when then-Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.) applied for President Barack Obama.
