Her number one piece of advice? “Don’t talk about 2020.”
“Now, if I were Trump and running the campaign, I would strongly urge him to stop talking about 2020,” he said Wednesday night. “It’s over. Enough. Marinating in the old claims of election fraud will not win a single voter in any state that needs to be won in 2024.
Another piece of advice he offered was: “Talk less about yourself, more about the American people.”
Other suggestions include: Explain how you’re going to rebuild the economy, surround yourself with serious advisors, “run against the Democrats, not the media” and “drop the nicknames and petty personal stuff.”
After spending the best part of seven years attacking the media and dishing out harsh epithets to political rivals and critics, more than two years raging about the 2020 election and a lifetime talking about himself, it seems unlikely that Trump will take that advice.
