Real talk. LaNisha Cole killing rumors that she is pregnant again after welcoming daughter Onyx Nick Cannon – and trolls are shamed for making judgments about their bodies.
“No, I’m not pregnant anymore. You guys are so used to the SnapBack culture that you can’t allow women to be at peace with not losing the baby weight in a week,” Cole, 40, wrote via Instagram Stories on Thursday, February 2. “My body is bigger. and I’m not in a rush to lose weight. It will come at the right time. So far it’s just something else I love lol.
Cole explained that as a new mother, she had “many other priorities” than her weight including the “Empress Onyx,” who had “ruled” her life since giving birth.
“I’m fine. He is my boss,” he joked. “I will train again when he allows.”
Later that day, the California native added a video of her laughing daughter via Instagram Stories, writing, “We’re both chunky together. My little girl is big.”
Cole and The Masked Singer The 42-year-old host made headlines in September 2022 when he announced the arrival of a baby girl. Cannon once publicly announced Cole was pregnant with a child but called the photographer “one of the most guileless, peaceful and nonconfrontational souls” he had ever met.
“He is so loving and pure,” the comedian wrote via Instagram after Onyx’s birth. “For me, if you are really concerned about this Spiritual War, my inner struggle with myself, my mental health and physical health issues… Just keep praying for me and my whole family that God will give me the peace that passes all understanding. . 🙏🏾❤️.”
Cole, for his part, wrote via Instagram Stories that the baby was “surrounded by so much love.”
“Today is a special day for us. I can’t tell you how happy I am to welcome Onyx Ice Cole Cannon into the world,” she said. “The joy I feel as a mother is something that will forever open my heart in a new way. I’m in love with him!”
Three months later, Cole praised Cannon as a parent. “Coparenting is so easy when you look into the eyes, It’s all about this little boy, our Onyx,” he wrote via Instagram Stories in December 2022. Stevie Wonder in the delivery room to welcome Onyx into this world. My heart smiles every time I hear this song played. It will be special forever.
Cannon first became a father in 2011, welcoming twins Morocco and Monroe with his ex-wife Mariah Carey. They later welcomed son Golden, born in 2017, daughter Kuat, born in 2020, and son Rise, born in September 2022, with Brittany Bell. At Drumline stars and abby de la rosa with twins Zillion and Zion, born in June 2021, and a beautiful daughter, born in November 2022. Cannon then welcomed son Legendary with Bre You know in July 2022. At The Nick Cannon Show host and Alyssa Scott – whose baby son Zen died in December 2021 – welcomed daughter Halo in December 2022.
At Wild ‘N Out The host has often been criticized for having too much brood. In December 2022, Cole hit back at trolls after he made a “disgusting” comment about Cannon’s Modern Family.
“For those who still feel the need to be rude to me and send rude messages, I know that it’s easy to sit on the phone and see a glimpse of someone’s life and feel better than them,” wrote the producer of the film via Instagram. “Call me baby mama #538 every time I say, ‘The sky is blue,’ it’s not called out and it’s old. I asked. My life is played out in public but a lot of it is invisible. There is so much more I want to say but this is not the time. I wouldn’t change anything about my trip because I’m in a good place right now and everything should work out the way it did when I got here.
