Lala Kent recalled being around Tom Sandoval and James Kennedy last week for the grand opening of Lisa Vanderpump’s Las Vegas hotel. The star also shared why she didn’t attend Jasmine Goode’s wedding to Melissa Carelli.
In the new season of The Valley, Lala is seemingly at odds with Jasmine, who suggested that Lala wouldn’t be friends with many of her costars if it wasn’t for the show. Lala also isn’t close with her former costars Sandoval or James (who was arrested in 2024 under suspicion of a domestic incident, though the charges were dropped). James recently confirmed that his girlfriend Jordan Meyers is pregnant.
On Untraditionally Lala, the star recalled being around Sandoval and James as they went to the grand opening.
“I flew JetSuite X … I see Alex Baskin, who’s like my security blanket. So I sat with him and then in comes Tom Sandoval, who’s also on my flight, and then in comes James Kennedy with his girlfriend,” she said, via @vanderpodrecaps on Instagram. “I was just thinking like wow, I never thought I would ever be on a flight with all of these people.”
“I did meet James’ girlfriend. She’s blonde, she’s super cute,” Lala added. “James looked good. I didn’t say much to him except for, hi, how are you?”
“What about a congratulations?” asked Lala’s brother and cohost Easton.
“A congratulations? Honestly, I didn’t even acknowledge it because I don’t think that they’ve confirmed it,” she answered. “Maybe they have confirmed it. I don’t know.”
Lala said she was still in Sandoval and Kennedy’s orbit after they arrived.
“We land, and they have like three different cars to pick everyone up from Jet Suite X. And so it’s myself, Kiana [Carroll], Schwartzy, Tom Sandoval, James, James’ new girlfriend in this car,” she explained. “You guys, I was like, I literally said out loud, I was like, I never thought any of us would be in the same f**king car ever again.”
Later on, Lala addressed Jasmine and Melissa’s wedding.
“I got text messages that were like, oh my god, I can’t believe you weren’t invited,” said the star. “I was invited. And it was really sad. Obviously very happy. Like I knew where I was going. [My friend] Candice‘s baby shower. Friend of 30 plus years. So that is where I was.”
“[Candice has been] trying for a baby for eight years,” she said. “And finally we get to celebrate her. So obviously that’s where I was going to be. … I did have FOMO and I never have FOMO. I was having mad FOMO because it just looked like such an authentic love. It didn’t look like it was a show for anybody.”
