Lala Kentrung spoke out about the heated moment between him and Tom Schwartz which was previewed in the recently released trailer for Vanderpump Rules season 10.
After Tom was seen attacking Lala, he slammed his friend as a “Slutty Housewife” in the midst of a breakup with his ex-husband. Katie MaloneyLala talks about her tense face while appearing on her former friend’s podcast, Christian Doute.
When he discussed how the new season will bring up old feelings in the January 18 episode of Sex, Love, and What Mattersevery Heavy, Lala put attention on Tom’s diss, who is listening that he was not mocked by his comments.
“Even Schwartzy in the Trailer pulls out the OG line calling someone a bootleg. This season I’m a bootleg housewife. And you know what, I’m a bootleg housewife. Not an insult. It’s more just a fact,” said Lala.
Although it’s unclear what sparked the feud, Lala insists she’s not a fan of Tom’s relationship with her friend, Rachel Lewis, shortly after the news dropped. In fact, she told Radar Online that she’s “working hard” to meet in September 2022.
Then, in the following month, Lala targeted Raquel’s intelligence after knowing that she vocalized that she was not against the potential hookup in the future between Lala and her ex-fiancé, James Kennedy.
“It didn’t fire up there for [Raquel] so nothing comes out of his mouth it’s weird for me because I’m like, this track. It’s really a track,” Lala explained on her podcast.
Speaking to Us Weekly last year, Tom admitted that filming season 10 was “emotionally taxing” due to his divorce from Katie.
“I think we hit a rough patch at the end. We fell out. But I’m fine now,” he said of his relationship with Katie, who will be seen dating in the new episode.
“You’ll see some of that play out. My gut reaction – it’s tough, but I have to say I handled it well. I’m pretty rational about it,” he said. “I just want Katie to be happy. I’m not just talking. I’m not trying to be Mr. Cool Guy’s saint. I just want Katie to be happy. I’m not the jealous type.”
Also in the podcast episode, Christian, who was fired from Pump Rules in June 2020 after being accused of racist behavior towards a former castmate Faith Stowerssaid he was excited about the new season.
“Trailer for Vanderpump come out, I’m not salty, I’m like hot d-mn, jaw-dropping, that sh-t is good,” he admitted.
