During the season 10 of Vanderpump RulesKent admitted he had sex with Kennedy, 31, in 2016 when they were both in a relationship.

“James and I when we were both very new in the relationship we definitely hooked up,” revealed the Utah native to Katie Maloney in the February episode of the Bravo hit series, which was filmed in July 2022. “We went to Chicago [in 2016] and we started drinking before we got on the plane. Kent, who was previously linked to a professional DJ, is dating Randall Emmett in overlapping periods. Kennedy, for his part, went public with Leviss, 28, earlier that year.

The California native, for his part, questioned Kent’s comments in another episode Vanderpump Rules. “Really, Lala? You’re going to sit there and judge me for hypothetically making out with it Tom Schwartz, haven’t you slept with my girlfriend while we were together? You’re such a hypocrite,” Leviss said in a confessional during the February episode.

However, off-screen, it happened when news broke of Leviss’ relationship with Sandoval, 39. Not long after the scandal hit the headlines, Us Weekly confirmed that Sandoval has parted ways with Ariana Madix after almost ten years together.

“He’s been in trouble for a while,” a source said usadding that it “just came to the breaking point” when the Florida native, 37, found out that her then-boyfriend was unfaithful to his costar.

Madix, who has not spoken about the drama, deleted her social media account shortly before the news hit the headlines. Leviss has also not spoken about his involvement in the scandal.

Sandoval, for his part, issued a statement after his Los Angeles business faced backlash.

“Hey, I understand and deserve the anger and disappointment towards me, but please leave Schwartz, my friends and family out of this situation … Schwartz specifically only knows about this, and certainly does not condone my actions. This is very personal,” he wrote via Instagram, Saturday. “Also, Schwartz & Sandy’s may have my name on it, but there are also 3 other partners and 20 employees, who primarily rely on the restaurant for income for them and their families.”

He continued: “Like TomTom, I am a small part of a bigger thing. Please direct your anger at me and not him. He did nothing wrong. I am sorry that my partners, Greg, Brett, and Schwartz and employees have to suffer because of my actions. I will step back and take a break out of respect for my employees and partners.
