Kyle Cooke addressed his rumored romance with Southern Charm‘s Salley Carson, as the Summer House star hinted at where they stand. His castmate Lindsay Hubbard then reacted.
Recently, a report surfaced that Salley and Kyle were hooking up amid his split from wife Amanda Batula (who’s now in a relationship with their co-star West Wilson). Meanwhile, fans have speculated about Lindsay’s relationship with Kyle, after he revealed earlier this week that she took a shower in his hotel room at Cannes Lions in France.
“Is Salley Carson so good at kissing [that] Kyle’s moving to Charleston?” asked Danny Murphy, host of Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, in a live taping at Cannes Lions.
Lindsay answered, “No. Kyle is not moving to Charleston if I have a say in this.”
Kyle also shared on the podcast that he hooked up with a woman named Astrid, who’s “in my bed.” When asked how things are going with Salley, Kyle answered, “I think she’s amazing.”
“Well, she’s about to find out about Astrid,” joked Lindsay.
“Southern Charm, you know, I love all my friends on that show,” Kyle continued. “I feel like [Salley] kind of gets a raw deal. And I think she’s amazing. … She’s a full-time career-driven woman and also films [the show]. And the men should take note on that show. [That’s] all I’m going to say.”
Earlier this month, sources told Us Weekly that Salley and Kyle are only “hooking up.”
“It’s new and casual, but he’s really into her, and they’ve been having fun,” said one source. “They’ve only hung out a few times but get along really well. They have a lot of chemistry.”
At the Summer House reunion, Ciara Miller shared that Kyle made out with Salley on the night of the premiere party.
“When I found that out, I immediately called Amanda, and I told her that Kyle was making out with Salley, and I thought that that was crazy,” explained Ciara, who was best friends with Amanda before she started dating West, Ciara’s ex. “I thought it was absurd. It’s insane. I’m just making an example of how good of a friend I was to [Amanda] and how [she’s] a friend to me. I just want to point that out.”
