Kwam 1, new wife debunk marriage crisis rumours

Fuji Maestro Wasiu Ayinde, better known as Kwam 1, is under renewed scrutiny after a video of him rejecting a kiss from his new wife Emmanuella at his surprise 66th birthday party, on Saturday went viral.

There were earlier claims on social media about the couple having marital problems.

In April 2022, the singer denied reports that her husband slapped him over allegations of infidelity.

In the same month, a popular gossip blogger reported that the famous singer and his wife had a dispute that turned physical.

The blogger also said maestro Fuji’s wife accompanied him to an official event and harassed him at the event.

In a video of her birthday surprise on March 3 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, Emmanuella tries to kiss her husband. However, she continued to move his face, and after he kissed her, she wiped her lips with a handkerchief.

Reacting to the latest rumors of a marital crisis, Kunle Rasheed, the singer’s spokesperson, said it was unfortunate that people could be negative.

“Our attention has been drawn to yet another unofficial and unreliable information that the Mayegun of Yorubaland, K1 de Ultimate, is not in love with his beloved wife, hence the rejection of the kiss during their surprise birthday party held at the Radisson Blu over the weekend .”

No big deal

He said a rejected kiss is not a big deal.

“This rumor mongers have turned what is usually inconsequential to something they feel in their imagination; they have to celebrate and spread to gain an unknown profit.”

“These rumour-mongers, who only thrive on negativity, must be able to see with hatred that love has found a place to stay permanently in the hearts of their partners.”

Mr. Rasheed, however, did not give any explanation as to why Kwam 1 rejected the display of affection (kiss) from his wife.

Claiming that K1 and his wife Emmanuella are very much in love, he revealed that their love is understood by many, but the gossipmongers want to see the couple’s marriage go sour.

“It engulfs them with sadness and pain so much that the daily activities to shop endlessly for a way to transfer the mode of not enjoying that for the couple regularly enjoying the bliss of uni,” he added.

He also assured the public that the couple is still going strong and has no intention of ending their beautiful marriage.

“We want to say clearly for the second time that “Ajike Okin” and his beloved wife K1 de Ultimate have mastered how to always keep their faces to the sun so that the shadow can fall behind them. They are still sailing in the boat of love without stopping or sinking.

The background

After many shots at marriage, Kwam 1 married Emmanuella in November 2021. Emmanuella is his third wife after Titi Masha, who got married in 2017, and Yewande, who lives in Canada with his children.

The pair have elaborate wedding the ceremony at the Alake Palace of Egbaland, Ake Abeokuta, was attended by over 30 monarchs.

This is the first time the Fuji maestro will hold a large and public wedding. The bride is the only woman who has been shown off and praised on social media.

The singer’s wife, who is in her 40s, runs a thriving boutique and children’s gift shop, Partydreams, in Omole Phase 1, Lagos. He also owns a liquor store and is a Forex trader. He attended Yaba College of Technology, where he studied Estate Management.

In July 2022, the singer assured his wife that he was the one the last wife he will ever marry.

“He is my wife, I will not let you go, and this should not go. No pack and go,” the singer gestured through the lyrics of the song, pointing to his wife who was sitting by his side.
