Kwabre east road will not be abandoned – Amoako-Attah


Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako Attah said the ruling New Patriotic Party cannot lose its political fortunes in Kwabre East Constituency as the area remains the party’s stronghold.

He emphasized that even though the constituency was destroyed by bad roads, it does not mean that the government has neglected the people of the area.

There was widespread anger and agitation among residents of the community in Kwabre East Constituency last year due to bad roads.

Mr. Amoako-Attah during a visit to the area assured that steps are being taken to give the road a facelift.

“On behalf of the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, I assure the traditional and indigenous rulers that this year [2023] it is the year of your path. We will expand road construction in this district and constituency. We will change what is relevant now. We know the value of Kwabre east to the political fortunes of the NPP, and we will not underestimate it,” he said The Minister of Roads and Highways stated.
