The duo met after Rotimi arrived in Ghana today. It comes after the release of the highly anticipated ‘Cryptocurrency’ collaboration.
Crowds of fans, some on foot and others on motorbikes, surrounded the vehicles of Kuami Eugene and Rotimi when they appeared at Kokomlemle, in front of Joy FM.
“Rockstar, Rockstar, Rotimi,” shouted the fans. Kuami Eugene later splashed the money.
Meanwhile, the collaboration comes barely two weeks after Rotimi expressed interest in working with Lynx Entertainment signee Kuami Eugene.
The request came after Kuami Eugene posted a video of himself on Instagram dancing to an unreleased song.
“Should I put this next? #cryptocurrency,” signee Lynx Entertainment has captioned the post.
After seeing the post, Rotimi took to the comment section to praise Kuami Eugene. The comments included several fire emojis showing how much they liked the song
“This bro is crazy. Send me this with the opening verse!!! ASAP!!!” American singer wrote.
The song was released at midnight on Thursday. The two artists are expected to shoot a video for the song, according to sources.
