Christian Doute appeared on Nick ViallPodcast on Thursday, where they opened up about the drama going on between them Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix in the week since the relationship with Rachel Lewis has been exposed.
After blasting Sandoval, who she dated from 2006 to 2014, for accusing Ariana of cheating on her and sharing texts she sent about their nearly decade-long relationship, Vanderpump Rules star admits Ariana was “humiliated” when she slammed Raquel as “f-king dumb” with “no personality”.
“I’m sure it was filmed – they just burned him. It’s not a genuine apology. He said he never supported him, he didn’t endorse him,” Kristen said in the March 16 episode. Viall file, via Entertainment Tonight. “They blame him… It’s Tom to a T.”
After being brought back to Pump Rules After she was fired in June 2022, Kristen filmed an emotional scene with Ariana, where she shared a text from Sandoval.
“When I was filming with him, he was like crying and picked up the phone, ‘So, he said that our relationship is comfortable and happy,’ or something like that. It’s not love and romance… He said that Tom said about him and Tom,” added Kristen . “And she immediately started crying, looking at her phone, ‘So, all these memories, all these wonderful trips, all the videos I have, all these kissing photos, all this bullshit?’ “
“He was so broken. He was humiliated,” continued Christian.
While Kristen hasn’t seen Ariana since she got back from Mexico, where she attended a friend’s party, she tells Nick that Ariana has told him she’s “so excited to go.”
“He’s not ready to go back, you know, real life, but the conversation we had with him was like, he was nervous and scared for the first time he had to sit alone with these thoughts. And, like, really deal with the reality of it all, after filming,” Christian explained. “I said, I know, but you don’t have to be here now. There’s no timeline. Don’t push yourself.'”
Turning to Raquel, Kristen says she can “see why Tom” chose her to cheat on Ariana, because Raquel makes her “cool” and “talented.”
“Ariana has a backbone. Raquel doesn’t. Raquel validates everything that Tom needs to be validated,” Kristen shared, as noted by Page Six, continuing to slam Sandoval’s “stupid band and sequined pants and nail polish and dumb haircut and pedophile mustache.”
As for Ariana’s communication with Raquel, Kristen said she “definitely” hasn’t talked since Ariana confronted Raquel about her relationship with Sandoval on the phone.
“The network asked the production if Ariana would do a movie with them,” Kristen said. “Production has him back. [They] like … ‘It’s not happening.'”
A reunion would be “pretty bad” for Ariana, he added.
